DSI eiDriver Gen II
DSI eiDriver Gen II is a new generation of an electronic highly technological driver that is made for abutment screws tightening. This model has new benefits that have been added based upon vast experience that has been accumulated over the recent years, and an infinite amount of feedback from highly decorated doctors. All of that helped to create the perfect driver with unique qualities. DSI eiDriver Gen II can be used with any motor-mount driver bit with a latch-type RA connection type. Any bit that goes with a standard contra-angle handpiece can be used with this one as well. This driver is also equipped with an adjustable torque that ranges from 10-40Ncm with 5 different options to select from. The torque is sufficient enough to install GBR tenting screws and orthodontic TAD mini-implants.
The ability to change the desired torque and limit it is crucial in any abutment/healing cap placement procedure. It is also very useful to be able to change the rotation side to tight or loose the screw of the abutment if removal or adjustment is needed. With the DSI eiDriver Gen II, it can be done simply by pushing the ring-shaped button with one hand. The ring button works in a 360° range and allows you to push the button from any side. It means complete freedom of movement and availability to work both on the upper and lower jaws with the same efficiency.

The rotation side selection is done with a single push of a control ring button and the torque selection is done with a double push of the same button. This procedure is very convenient and intuitive especially when you need the adjustments in the middle of the procedure. The driver has an ergonomically designed handle that sits perfectly in the hand and feels good. The 360-degree pressure area ring button is located on the top side of the handle which grants easy access and no need to use additional assistance or even your second hand to control everything you need.
DSI eiDriver Gen II has 5 stages of torque adjustment that are changed in ascending order. The rotation can be changed to clockwise or counter-clockwise if desired. The upper contra-angle headpiece can be disconnected and sterilized in an autoclave. The driver is compatible with any motor-mount bit with a latch-type RA connection. The driver is delivered with 2 lithium accumulator batteries each one has enough energy for 2 complete hours of work. It means that you can work with one battery and charge the other one meanwhile.
