DSI Implant Cement is a new dual-cure temporary cement that has been designed specifically for today’s implant restorations. DSI Implant Cement is an eugenol-free temporary composite cement for temporary long-term fixation of all types of crowns and bridges on implant abutments. It is also suitable for temporary cementation of provisional restorations where long-term or increased retention is desired.
DSI Implant Cement is designed to completely facilitate and increase the speed of the dentist's work without compromising the quality and aesthetics of the result. It provides secure retention and an excellent marginal seal. DSI Implant Cement innovative formula creates a tight marginal seal and which is not wash out.It is a eugenol-free polymer resin cement. Possesses highly elastic properties and viscosity as it is made from a solid elastomeric resin.
The temporary cement is in the auto-mixing syringe, andensures uniform mixing, minimal waste and excellent retention. It saves youtime as it makes the application of cement easy and quick. Thanks to itsuniform consistency, it is evenly distributed in the middle of the crown andkeeps its shape. It has significantly lower displacement resistance incomparison with conventional cement because residues may be easily removed. Thevery low displacement resistance helps to achieve a particularly low filmthickness (10 μm)allowing a reliable and precise positioning of the restoration. Having reliableretention, it allows you to remove the structure in the future.Since theretention is mechanical, the crown can be removed without destruction. A toughelastomeric resin that flexes under force, absorbs impact and resistsshattering under daily occlusal stress. The cement has low solubility.Theremoval of restoration is a major advantage for gingiva and papilla formationin the case of local infections or irritations.

For control or other purposes, restorations fixed with DSI Implant Cement canbe removed without damage using common standard aids. Excess of the fixingmaterial (cement pieces) can be removed easily, quickly and free of residues.The restoration can be re-inserted after cleaning and short disinfection. Extremely low film thickness, only 10 μm for maximum fit and accuracy. It is even lower than the currently achievable precision of CAD/CAM techniques!Secure adhesion, the high compressive strength that perfectly formulatedadhesive properties lead to a masticatory stable adhesion, but still allowremoval of the superstructure without damage. This facilitates repairs, shadematching, extraoral cleaning, the treatment of peri-implantitis, and allowsgingival forming techniques to be performed.
