AOX Rescue Case/Repair

Healthy 72 y.o. M with Maxilla AOX 4 months old. Pt presented for first of impressions to fabricate final restoration. Two (non-DSI) implants were loose both on the right maxilla. Removal was done without any incisions, using a DSI FSR Compact Kit (Ref: SD-FSRC). Old osteotomies were curetted and granulation tissue was removed. Irrigation with tetracycline solution throughout the procedure. Bone graft placed: allograft with CGF. Osteotomies were refreshed using regular cutting drills then packed with bone graft. Versah burs were then used in reverse to pack the bone laterally in the osteotomies. DSI Premium Spiral Implant 4.2X13 placed in position 1 (UR Molar) / Implants 5.0X11.5 placed in position 2 (UR Incisor), Premium Multi Units. Conversion was done and sealed and pt left in a good condition after IVCS.
